How do I find one? My rheumatology team refuse to recommend, say they are not allowed to, but they say it's a good idea, as teeth/jaws are affected by RA.

Do you know one in London?

well he sounds great!
i haven't found anyone today, been dealing with fallout from boys' sickness day before and tryingt o catch up withmyself. then visited max-facs re: right jaw pain, waste of time, cou;dn;t open my xray file on his computer.
my nasty toothache responding well to antibiotics at present (probably an abcess)

Welli have promlems .
I have seen the same dentist for 28 years he is private now .

he does not know much about Slceroderma which causes a tight/ small mouth .But does see others with R.A and on drugs .He has a bit of knowagle about dry mouths and promlems

What i did was got him a booklet from the scleroderma people wrote for dentists .Its in my file Scleroderma is rare so i would not expect him too know much .

the other thing i found out was about the eastman hospital in London .Who will treat diffaclult cases say if my mouth got any smaller .
As for my jaw cracking i think i would discuss say if the jaw was painfull if he would have a longer app as the work would be slower .But of course i would have too pay .Then he is much cheaper then some and does say about the price .
I also go every 3 months its worth it .As i have acid promlems .He also will write out pripts for toothpaste
